What About Liquor?

Our understanding is that liquor is allowed without a permit if the following describe your event.....

• You are supplying it at no cost.
• Your party is by invitation only.
• There are no costs associated with coming to your party.
• You abide by the state, local, and federal laws.

Most weddings and some other events fall into this category.

There are one time (special use) liquor permits that are available for fundraisers ect. For questions regarding liquor you may call the State of Ohio Liquor Enforcement at 419-866-9907 to get all the details.

   On a personal note, I find it amazing how some very normal people can be turned into complete idiots by simply adding alcohol to the scene. Hopefully you'll consider this when you are deciding how much alcohol to provide if you are going to have it. Also, please remember that if someone pukes, you must clean it up entirely or we will charge you if it is left for us to do.
